With all three versions of Six Nations complete for 2025, we can now produce our final combined tables for the tournaments. If you want to learn more about this format and idea behind it you can see our combined Men’s and U20s table here.
A quick reminder that the winners of each individual tournament were: France (Men’s), France (U20), England (Women’s).
For those new to the series, we are aware this is a somewhat unscientific exercise, but we think it is a useful indication of the general playing health of different nations and something to have fun with over a beer in the pub or on social media.
Aggregate Table 2025 Six Nations
Firstly, the Aggregate Table. We produce this by simply adding the tallies of all the matches, wins, losses, points, bonus points, etc, from each format of the Six Nations.
So, with each nation having played 15 games across all formats, we put all the results into one pot.
In this format, England are champions. Their clean sweep by the Red Roses in the women’s tournament helps them pip France (France were top of both the 2025 Men’s and U20 tournaments and, also, our aggregate table from combining those events too).
France suffer due to falling to a solitary loss in each format of the tournament, with all defeats coming against England.
England lost a single game in both the Men’s (Ireland) and U20s (Wales), but get the title thanks to the Grand Slam in the women’s format.
Interestingly, the only loss England suffered at U20s level was to Wales, who sit at the absolute bottom here. All Wales’s wins came at U20s which, hopefully, offers at least a slither of light in a dark and damp tunnel for the teams in red.
Combined Scores Table 2025 Six Nations
In this table we combine the Senior Men’s, Women’s and U20 scores of nations against each other in each round to create a ‘new result’. For instance:
- France Men 43 Wales Men 0
- France U20 63 Wales u20 19
- France Women 42 Wales Women 12
- Combined result: France 148 Wales 31
A win is worth four points in our table and we totally dispense with bonus points as it doesn’t make sense to award any in this format.
Below are the combined results. For simplicity we’ve followed the order of fixtures in the Men’s and U20s as they mirror each other (the women’s tournament was played in a different sequence).
ROUND 1
Ireland Combined 35 England Combined 90
France Combined 148 Wales Combined 31
Scotland Combined 58 Italy Combined 66
Italy may have fallen short to Scotland in the Men’s tournament (losing 31-19), but wins at U20 level (22-10) and in the Women’s competition (25-17) see them edge a critical win here. England too, make up for a Men’s loss with big wins in the other two tournaments. Ireland scored 27 of their 35 combined points against England in the men’s match.
The Welsh result is genuinely grim.
ROUND 2
Italy Combined 84 Wales Combined 47
England Combined 96 France Combined 77
Scotland Combined 59 Ireland Combined 84
England were victorious in all three matches across the three tournament formats with France, but only win the combined matchup by 19 points (and 17 points of that winning margin came from the U20s). It was the key result for this combined results format and ultimately gave England the combined title.
Wales suffered a significant loss to Italy, despite a win at U20 level.
ROUND 3
Wales Combined 52 Ireland Combined 79
England Combined 132 Scotland Combined 35
Italy Combined 50 France Combined 165
This is Wales’s ‘best’ result. In spite of a 40-14 loss in the women’s, a 20-12 win at U20 level and a surprisingly ‘narrow loss in the Men’s (27-18), give Wales a hint of respectability here. France’s 165 points against Italy is the biggest tally in this format.
ROUND 4
Scotland Combined 86 Wales Combined 62
England Combined 118 Italy Combined 53
Ireland Combined 54 France Combined 91
Scotland grab their only win in our combined results system and it comes at the expense of Wales. Scotland won in all three formats against the Dragons, despite the Welsh being favoured at U20 level and having a decent chance of a win in the Women’s tournament.
ROUND 5
Italy Combined 44 Ireland Combined 88
Wales Combined 49 England Combined 148
France Combined 118 Scotland Combined 71
Another horror show for Wales. Scotland’s bizarre 45-40 loss to France at U20 level puts a bit of gloss on the combined score between the nations.
These results come together to produce this table:
This table sees England claim the title, with a ‘Grand Slam’.
Wales’s points difference is painful and Italy sneak above Scotland in the pecking order.
Whatever way you look at it, England came out on top overall in 2025 when all formats are drawn together.
